These catchers have a new bracket style developed for the 2005 model of catcher.  Use these instructions to attach your bracket. 

Installation :

            To install our catcher you will need to attach the aluminum angle bar to the edge of the deck so the catcher has a place to hook on to.  The high side of the angle bar should be vertical and flush with the edge of the deck just above the discharge.  If the catcher is a model with a rear baffle (such as a model for a Scag), place the bracket forward enough on the deck so that the rear baffle touches the mower deck (so there are no gaps at the rear).  The front baffle on the catcher should be far forward enough so that it does not block off the flow of clippings at the front of the mower. Clamp the angle bar down with a C clamp or vise grip, and drill 2 holes through the aluminum angle bar and the mower deck.  Space the holes at least 4 inches apart. Use the nuts and bolts supplied to attach the angle bar to the mower deck.

If you have a bracket that looks different than the photos below you have a pre-2005 bracket.
