Step 1: Remove the back door of the catcher

Step 2: Initial Setup
Place the bottom of the extender inside the lip at bottom of catcher. Pivot the extender up into position shown at left. There will probably be a gap between the catcher and extender at one side. (Note the gap at the top in this picture). When you have installed the adapter correctly, this gap will be closed off.

Step 3: Place the adapter
Place the adapter on top of the catcher so that the open end of the latch receiver faces forward

Step 4: Bring the extender forward until it touches the top of the catcher (as in Picture 1). pull the adapter back until it touches the front of the extender. You may have to angle the adapter out slightly to get it to match up. (note the adapter overhang in picture 3 taken from underneath)

Step 5: Check to see that the latch matches up with the receiver.

While carefully holding the adapter in place, mark the position of the adapter on catcher with a sharpie so you can attach it in the proper place to close any gaps and latch tight.

Step 7:

Clamp the adapter in place, using the marks from step 6.

Step 8:

Drill 4 holes through the adapter and on through the top of the catcher frame using a 3/16 drill bit. You may need a larger bit if you don’t have a rivet gun and are going to use nuts and bolts. You want 2 holes on each side as show in the picture in step 9.

Step 9: Place rivets in the 4 holes and install them with a rivet gun.

Step 10: Clip the extender onto the catcher.
