Supplement to general mounting instructions for Accelerator Catchers mounted on Grasshopper® mowers.

Before you can mount the Accelerator Bracket successfully, you will need to remove the deflector shield assembly at the edge of the grasshopper deck. This assembly (not the deflector shield itself) sticks out from the top of the mower deck and extends about 1 inch over the edge where the clippings are discharged from the mower. For the Accelerator to mount properly, you have to remove this and make the opening of the mower flat so the catcher can cover it properly. Always remember to remove the Accelerator Bracket and reattach the deflector assembly whenever you are going to use the mower without the catcher. Refer to the general mounting instructions for the catcher mounting itself.
