Accelerator Industries Custom catcher owner's manual for
SUTECH® Stealth 33 inch mower.
This catcher is intended for use by professional landscape personnel who have been trained in proper safety techniques and are physically capable of lifting heavy objects.
The Accelerator catcher for the Sutech mower attaches to the mower by means of a hook and pin. The stainless steel pin that protrudes from the catcher holds the front of the catcher down and the rear up. The hook slides over the steel lip on the mower (the one the deflector shield is attached to). In order for this to work, you must first drill a 1/2 inch hole at the front of the steel rim on the sutech mower. To do this, place a mark 3/4 inch back from the front of the lip and 1/4 inch above the the deck itself (see illustration). Drill a 1/2 inch hole at the mark. Attach the catcher by placing the stainless pin through the hole and dropping the hook over the lip. You do not need to remove the delector shield.
Removing and emptying the catcher:
A). Turn engine off. Be sure blade has stopped rotating before proceeding to step B.
B) While the catcher is still mounted on the mower, lift the door pin on the back of the catcher out.
C) Remove the catcher from the mower by lifting the back end and pulling the catcher straight out from the mower. Use proper lifting techniques to avoid back injury. Be sure you have secure footing before attempting to lift the catcher.
D) Empty the catcher by tipping it towards the back until the grass falls out.
E) put the catcher back on the mower.
F) Secure the door pin.

If the catcher becomes too full for you to carry, remove the door and empty some of the debris using a hoe or rake. DON’T OVERFILL ESPECIALLY WITH WET GRASS. The catcher can be quite heavy when it is full. While the catcher can take the heavy load, your body may not be able to. USE COMMON SENSE.

Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious injury
Never use mower without catcher or original grass deflector fully installed.
Never operate catcher without door shut and secured.
Always use eye protection when operating lawn mower.
Keep others away from the mowing area.
Do not use if you cannot safely lift heavy loads. Use proper lifting techniques.
Make sure engine is off and blade has stopped rotating before removing or installing catcher.
Use caution when mowing on slopes- the fuller and heavier the catcher is the more likely the mower is to tip over or slip.
Follow all safety instructions provided with the lawn mower.
Don’t use this catcher if it is cracked or damaged.
Don’t put your hands inside the catcher. Cuts or abrasions may result.
