This extender is intended for use by professional landscape personnel who have been trained in proper safety techniques and are physically capable of lifting heavy objects. READ THIS ENTIRE MANUAL (FRONT AND BACK) BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO INSTALL OR USE THE EXTENDER. IT CONTAINS IMPORTANT SAFETY AND PERFORMANCE INFORMATION.Installation:The extender fits onto the rear of the catcher. Be sure you have the correct extender model. Use GCExtend for the 4.15 cubic foot Accelerator and GCExtendXL for the 6.2 Cubic foot XL model. If you have a pre 2000 accelerator without the removable back door, you will not be able to mount the extender. On catchers without the latch receiver at the rear top of the catcher, you will have to mount the optional adapter kit. 4) Secure the latch.

Read the Extender owner's manual before using or installing this product. Improper installation can cause hazards.
This extender is intended only for leaf pickup. Filling the extender with grass may cause the mower to become unstable, creating a hazardous condition.
Follow all the safety instructions provided with your lawn mower and grass catcher.
Always use eye protection when operating your lawn mower.
Keep others away from the mowing area.
Do not use this extender if you cannot safely lift heavy loads. Use proper lifting techniques.
Be sure the blade has stopped moving before removing or installing the extender or catcher.
Use caution when mowing on slopes. The fuller and heavier the catcher and extender are the more likely the mower is to tip over or slip.
Don’t use this extender if it is cracked or damaged.
Don’t use your hands inside the extender. You may be cut or scratched.
YOU MUST HAVE EITHER THE CATCHER OR DEFLECTOR SHIELD IN PLACE EVERY TIME YOU MOW. IF THE BRACKET PREVENTS THE DEFLECTOR SHIELD FROM DEPLOYING TO IT’S PROPER POSITION, YOU MUST REMOVE THE BRACKET FROM THE MOWER WHEN YOU ARE NOT USING THE CATCHER.
